“This is the generation that seeks Him, that seeks Your face, even Jacob.” - Psalm 24:6

Here at Tiferet Yeshua, we are raising up the next generation to be whole-hearted followers of Yeshua who will be a light and a witness in the House of Jacob. One of our primary callings as followers of Yeshua is to make disciples, and God commands us multiple times in His Law to diligently teach our children in the way of the Lord so that they will not depart from it.

In the last year alone, eleven families have joined Tiferet Yeshua because they wanted to be in a congregation with a Hebrew-speaking children’s ministry.
Most of these parents are immigrants from the former Soviet Union or Ethiopia: their children, on the other hand, are Israelis who want to learn and read the Bible in Hebrew just like in their day to day life. We are blessed to have a dedicated and gifted team of teachers who have put together a bible-based yearly curriculum and faithfully lead our children’s classes every week. Anyone who visits our services will not miss the life, noise and energy of all the children and teens!

As a troubled teen, I came to faith in Yeshua and was dramatically transformed: from a life of violence and barely making it in school (I suffered from severe dyslexia), I found myself set free from anger and hatred and succeeded in finishing my diploma. Eventually I became the leader of the youth ministry at Tiferet Yeshua, and today, years later, I lead all our twelve and thirteen year-olds through the foundations of the faith and teach them to read their Torah portions for bar and bat mitzvah ceremonies.

We are one of the only Messianic congregations to have our own Torah scroll, a blessing we are able to share with the Jewish Body of Messiah in Israel. Just recently I had a special experience helping a family from another congregation with their son’s bar mitzvah. The family chose to have their son’s bar mitzvah in a very special place: the remains of the ancient Susya synagogue in the Negev desert. Historians believe that this was a synagogue of Jewish followers of Yeshua. It was an amazing experience to hold the bar mitzvah ceremony there and cause this ancient Messianic Jewish synagogue to come alive again. I gave a short message after the bar mitzvah boy finished his Torah portion, and there were quite a few non-believers present who came to me afterward with questions.

At Tiferet Yeshua, we understand the profound spiritual significance of Messianic Jewish life returning to the Land where it all began and where it will ultimately culminate with Yeshua’s return.
When you support Tiferet Yeshua congregation, you are investing in the “Jacob Generation”, in the lives of the young men and women who will seek His face and one day cry out to the ancient gates and doors to lift up their heads to welcome back Yeshua, the King of Glory.
